INTRODUCTION




Digital radiography starts being introduced in the early 1990s corresponding to the establishment of first generation of picture archiving and communication system (PACS). This technology is steadily increased until now with quality at least equal to if not better than that conventional technique. It consists of digital detector, which replaces silver halide-based film and cassettes used in conventional radiography. Types of digital radiography are differentiates based on the types of detector used.
